Empty Road In Between Grass Field During Golden Hour

Hi everybody, and welcome to my journey.

When I decided to start making content, I wasn’t quite sure where I wanted to go with it. I knew I wanted to talk about something I truly care about, but I wouldn’t call myself an expert on any one subject.

I have a lot of interests, but not 10,000 hours of practice in any of them. Most of my time over the last five-plus years has been spent in full-time school and full-time work.

I love to read, make music, watch movies, garden, cook, and bake with my girlfriend.

I also try to spend time with God—reading the Bible, doing devotionals, praying, and serving the Lord.

I don’t know where you’re at in your walk with God. Maybe you’re a new believer, a seasoned follower, or maybe you’re not quite sure what you believe—and that’s okay. I’ve been there too.

One day, while doom scrolling through Instagram Reels (my vice of choice), I noticed a pattern in what the algorithm was feeding me. Three main themes kept showing up:

Christian. Health. Traditional.

Every time it strayed from that, I closed the app—or deleted it altogether.

I kept wishing there were more people creating the kind of content I actually wanted to see.

Something that would help me become a better man.

Something that would help me become a great husband.

Something that would help me become a loving father.

Something that would help guide me in my walk with God.

Then it occurred to me:

I can create the kind of content I want to consume.

I can share biblical wisdom that has helped me.

I can post healthy recipes and natural remedies that we use at home.

I can speak on my political beliefs through a Christian lens.

I’m a Christian, and I’m not perfect. Only Jesus Christ is perfect.

But God has given me a voice—and I’m going to use it.

Every week, I’ll share stories about my walk with God, where He’s leading me, and maybe where He’s leading you too.

You’ll read about current events, cultural issues, and social norms—all through a biblical perspective.

I’ll review Christian books, songs, and movies and share my personal favorites.

And I’ll post recipes for meals and pastries my girlfriend and I make—along with natural remedies we’ve come to love.

If you feel like the culture is leaving you behind, if you need someone to walk alongside you, or if you just want to make a meaningful change in your daily life but don’t know where to start—this channel is for you.

I’ll be posting Christ-centered content weekly on YouTube, podcast platforms, and right here on the blog.

You can find it all on my website: EverydayDiscipleJourney.com

Come follow along for the journey.

Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

I created The Everyday Disciple Journey to encourage believers to walk with Jesus through all seasons of life—not just during church services or spiritual highs. My goal is to share truth-filled content that helps you live boldly, love deeply, and grow spiritually. I’m just a regular guy with a Bible, a passion for discipleship, and a desire to help others find lasting joy in Christ.
